 Ganly's, one of Waterford Stanley's longstanding customers have opened a second store in Longford town. The new store is on the site of two old warehouses located in the centre of Longford town. The store will employ up to 50 staff and will have a garden centre.
Following on from a launch to the trade and employees on Tuesday 23rd Octover, Ganlys had their official opening on Thursday 25th October which was opened by the local Major of the town. The opening proved a great success and is a great vote of confidence to the town as Longford as fast becoming a major regional retail centre.
Waterford Stanley invested in a new concept Heating and Cooking Centre with Ganlys, which is displayed in a prime location within the store. On display from Waterford Stanley are Rayburn cookers, Stanley cookers and stoves, Waterford Range cookers and Built-in appliances. Also part of the heating and cooking centre is Aga.
Longford town is the administrative centre of County Longford, with a population of 7,557 with a catchment area of 290,051 within a 60 km (37.5 mile) radius.
